We are called by God to do more in our lifetime, and Sister Stan's Children is always looking for people with good hearts and the drive and desire to make an impact in this world. Help more children by sharing the life-changing work of Sister Stan's mission with others. Join a community of people like you – who care about helping children through child sponsorship. Be equipped with tools, training, and ideas to help us grow the kingdom of God, attend important in-person events to get to know other volunteers, staff, sponsors & donors.

Who Are Ambassadors?

Sister Stan's Ambassadors are volunteers who offer their friends, family, neighbors, church, or others in their network in a tangible way to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable children in Ghana by supporting Sister Stan's Children with their time, talent, child sponsorship, or mission support.

How Do Ambassadors Make Connections?

All kinds of ways! Ambassadors schedule coffee with friends and family, host dinner parties, display their sponsorship materials on their desk at work, plan events at their church, attend Sister Stan's Children events, promote the mission, and so much more!

How Much Time Commitment Is There?

The average Sister Stan's Ambassador spends approximately one hour per week to check in with staff. Being an Ambassador can easily be integrated into your daily life, but it does require some time to be intentional about learning and applying!

Volunteers like you are changing the world one child at a time by giving your time and talents. In a country that has a history of poverty and rural devastation, we are excited that hundreds of Ghanian children are now finding their lives transformed through education provided through Sister Stan's Children. People choose to volunteer for a variety of reasons. For some it offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to those less fortunate.   • My family and visited The Nazareth Home for God’s Children Orphanage last November. It was such a wonderful opportunity to meet her children, fellow nuns and her staff. The children display a wide range of abilities in terms of their uniqueness and function as one large cohesive family....all under the watchful eye of Sr. Stan.
